Inform Your Insurance Company

If your property has been damaged due to a storm or accident, the first step is to inform your insurance company. Once you have lodged a claim, ABC Group will be appointed as your repair partner.

Initial Contact Point

Your dedicated claims coordinator will be in touch with you as soon as possible. Your claim will be triaged and we will arrange an appointment for a Building Assessment.

Building Assessment

Our specialist assessors will meet you onsite at your home. They will assess the damages to your property, report on the damage and prepare a quote for your repairs. This will then be delivered to your insurance company. Our purpose-built project management and tool means that your assessor can submit your claim from the field. This speeds up the process, helping you get back into your home sooner.

Specialist Reports

At ABC Group, we have an extensive network of specialist trades to assist us with the repair of your home. Our trades will partner with our Assessing Team and provide specialist reports. This can be for electrical, plumbing, roofing or any other specialist trade required. This is to ensure we adopt the best repair method for your property.

Claim Approvals

Our team will submit photos, reports as part of your claim. Your claim is then lodged to your insurance company for approval. Once approved, we can move to begin the proposed repairs.

Repair Documentation

Once your claim has been approved by your insurance company, your claims coordinators will reach out to you in order to commence your repair project. This will include a review of the scope of works plus the signing of a Product Confirmation Form and a QBCC contract.

Repair Coordination

You will then be partnered with a QBCC qualified Project Manager who will assist you throughout your repair. We will outline all project details and repairs upfront to ensure you're comfortable with our plans to restore your property. Strong and consistent project management and documentation allow us to deliver for our clients.

Completion

Congratulations, together we have completed your repair project on your house! Your Project Manager will walk you through the completed repairs to ensure you are happy with the works completed. After this, we will sign off on your project.
